Update to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – Acute Exacerbation

TreatGx users now have access to the updated treatment algorithm for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – Acute Exacerbation. As always, this update includes the TreatGx standard of providing personalized dosing based on kidney function, liver function, and drug interactions.

This update was based on recent guidelines from GOLD 2022 [1]. Short-acting bronchodilators were added to medication options. Antibiotic inclusion was narrowed to follow GOLD 2022 empiric treatment.
